I created these leaf earrings from solid copper sheet by sawing out the shapes and texturing them with a hammer.  They were then hand forged and shaped into their final 3-D form.  Copper wire "tendrils" were then added to complete the design.  Hand forged copper earwires were added and the earrings were oxidized, buffed and polished for that rustic look.  The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to preserve the patina and resist tarnishing.
Approximate size: 5.3 cm long (from piercing) x 2.0 cm wide (2 1/8" long x 3/4" wide).
