These oval shaped earrings were created out of solid copper sheet and hand textured with a hammer and different metal stamps to create the overall design.  The earrings were then oxidized, buffed and polished to give them a rustic glow.  Hand forged earwires were added and the metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to preserve the patina and resist tarnishing.
Approximate size: 4.5 cm long (from piercing) x 2.0 cm wide (1 3/4" long x 3/4" wide).
