These tear drop shaped earrings were created from solid copper sheet, hand patterned with a hammer, further embellished and stamped and then domed slightly for a 3-D appearance.  Hand forged copper earwires were added and the earrings were oxidized, buffed and polished for that rustic look. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to preserve the patina and resist tarnishing.
